The interdisciplinary system of Latin United states & Latino/a Studies (LALS) fosters a rich and critical knowledge of Latin America, including Brazil while the Hispanic Caribbean, in its sense that is broadest. Latin American & Latino/a Studies Training Goals
The LALS Program has four primary goals for its pupils:
- The arts and the social sciences to understand Latin America and Latinos in the United States through the lenses of literature.

The Minor in Latino/a Studies
